What is CHDP?

The CHDP program is a State program that provides preventive health for California's children and youth.

What services are provided through CHDP?

CHDP provides early health care to children and youth in California who have unmet health needs. This program provides periodic preventive health assessments, referrals and treatment.

Who is eligible for CHDP?

CHDP provides health services to those receiving Medi-Cal from birth to age 21. For more information on CHDP services please see the California Department of Health Services.
