SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (SARS)

What is SARS?

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) (pdf) came to our attention in 2002 when identified in China. Since that time SARS has spread throughout the world. While we haven't seen many cases here in the United States, the CDC is aware of the potential spread of SARS. They have provided a FAQ (pdf) fact sheet to answer the many questions about SARS.
