MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS
What programs does Tulare County offer to mental health consumers?
Tulare County Mental Health maintains several programs to assist our residents in need of mental health services. These programs are:
- Managed Care - provides oversight and compliance of mental health services.
- ConRep - state program that provides a system of treatment and monitoring adults diagnosed with a mental illness.
- Crisis Response - provides crisis services for Tulare County 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Juvenile Forensics - emphasises treatment with symptom reduction, behavior management, safety and comfort, corrective thinking, and alcohol and drug education.
- Criminal Justice Health Care - provides medical services to adults and juveniles incarcerated in the County criminal justice system.
- The Transitional Living Center - facility designed to provide residential care for consumers who have historically required treatment in locked facilities.
- The Community Living Center - an assisted housing facility for mentally ill consumers.
- Representative Payee - assists mentally ill consumers in management of their social security disability funds.
- Central California Mental Health Housing Conference - deals specifically with housing issues for mental health consumers.
