Aging Services

Welcome to the Aging and Adult Services programs. If you are searching for information about filing a claim for veterans benefits, looking for services for an aging parent or relative, or need in-home services that will enable you to remain living independently in your own home, the links below will guide you to the information you need.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

Having help with tasks around the house not only makes the lives of seniors and the disabled easier but, in some cases, it allows them to remain safely in their own homes, avoiding the institutional settings of nursing homes or board & care facilities. The IHSS program can provide domestic and personal help, such as grooming and bathing, help with dressing, housecleaning, food shopping, laundry, and meal preparation.
