In TulareCounty, keeping families safely together is our mission whenever possible. One way we accomplish this is through Voluntary Family Maintenance. These services are provided to families who are at risk of having their children removed and include a flexible range of services to improve family functioning and keep families intact. TulareCounty recognizes that to be effective, VFM services must build on family strengths and family-defined goals. The family is an integral part of the case plan design and team decision making process. Voluntary Family Maintenance services generally last from 3-6 months.
