Adult Mental Health Services
The Tulare County Mental Health Plan establishes the mental health services to be provided to qualifying children, adolescents and adults who are residents of Tulare County.
The Adult System of Care is organized around two outpatient clinics - the Visalia Adult Clinic (VAC) and the Porterville Adult Clinic (PAC). The Tulare County Mental Health outpatient clinics offer a full range of mental health services that, as underlying principles, strive to ensure the participation of the consumer in the treatment process; the recognition of cultural differences in the diverse populations we serve; and utilization of evidence-based practices in the models of treatment offered.
