ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG PREVENTION SERVICES
Provides community-based outreach and culturally relevant informational services designed to increase partnerships to address alcohol and drug problems. A major effort of this initiative is to provide capacity-building training and education to empower and mobilize neighborhood work groups to create safe and
healthy communities that prevent underage drinking and drug use.
ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG (AOD) TREATMENT SERVICES
Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Treatment Services is a continuum of AOD recovery services for Tulare County residents who choose to deal with their AOD problems.
ADULT DRUG COURT
Created through the vision and effort of Judge Glade Roper, this program intervenes with adults charged with minor drug offenses, and gives them an opportunity to attend treatment services and avoid greater problems in the future for themselves and the community.
PLACEMENT AND ORIENTATION SERVICES (POS)
Placement and Orientation Services (POS) is a client-oriented service that simplifies access to care for all Tulare County residents by offering frequent orientation groups throughout the County.
RECOVERY COURT (PROPOSITION 36)
Through collaboration with Tulare County Superior Court and Tulare County Probation staff, the Recovery Court Program allows individuals who meet certain
criteria to enter a treatment program rather than spend time in jail for non-violent drug related offenses.
