Quality Improvement Committee

Tulare County Mental Health is committed to the continual improvement of services, service delivery approaches, staff skill sets and competencies, and in clinical treatment approaches. The purpose and role of the Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) is to bring together mental health administration, contract providers, consumers and family members and community stakeholders to work in collaboration with identification and resolution of issues affecting the System of Care. Program areas such as Cultural Competency, Patient Rights, Adult and Child Mental Health and MHSA services and contract service providers regularly report to the QIC membership. Reports and findings on issue areas are brought before QIC for review, discussion and to create strategies for issue resolution (if necessary).
