Perinatal Wellness Program

The Perinatal Wellness Program (PWP) is funded by the Mental Health Services Act: Prevention and Early Intervention Plan.  The PWP seeks to:

  • Increase community knowledge of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders, otherwise known as postpartum depression
  • Increase screening for symptoms of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders
  • Provide treatment for women who meet program criteria and are experiencing symptoms of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders

Women who meet program eligibility criteria may be enrolled for PWP services which include:

  • Nurse home visitation
  • Therapeutic services
  • Case Management
  • Linkage to other community resources
