Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency provides programs to teach, protect and help the people of Tulare County - we focus on serving the community.

In an effort to help the residents of Tulare County live safer and healthier lives, we provide programs that focus on children's dental care and prevention, lead awareness, car seat safety, tobacco and nutrition.

We are also aware of the needs of our teen community. Tulare County's teen pregnancy rate is among the highest in the state. In an effort to better educate our teens, HHSA has several programs aimed at teen pregnancy education, prevention and parenting. Other areas of concern in Tulare County are the rise in Hepatitis B&C and STDs.

Today's families face many challenges. HHSA provides a variety of classes to build successful family relationships, and programs to deter youth from involvement with juvenile crime. In addition to treating family challenges, we provide alcohol and other drug dependency treatment programs to both adults and juveniles.
