GERIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

What if I need mental health services?

Funded by the Mental Health Branch, Geriatric Mental Health Services offers professional counseling and therapy to adults 55 years of age or older. Also offered is Senior Peer Counseling, a volunteer-based in-home counseling service for older adults experiencing life difficulties, depression, anxiety, bereavement and other concerns. The Friendly Visitor Program is also volunteer based, and offers weekly visits to homebound and isolated older adults. Support Groups are also available. Call 559-733-6111.
