INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM (ILP)

What happens after a child leaves Foster care?

The Independent Living Program (ILP) provides training activities/events, which are designed to assist current or former foster youth, ages 16 to 21 to become self-sufficient and responsible adults.

What does ILP provide?

Components include training on life skills, employment, social and communication skills, scholarships to support higher education and vocational training, and other individualized services as needed to assist youth in becoming self-sufficent.
